The history of "Les Olivades" dates back to 1818 and today it is the last local French company to continue the artisan tradition of printing on fabric which began in Marseille, Provence in 1648. Les Olivades is still creating wonderful designs based on the original styles. The fabrics have since been developed for use with furniture, curtains, tableware, clothing and bags, allowing the Provence sun to shine wherever they are used.

The exclusive range of printed cotton toiles by the iconic French designer Marius Boudin is only available through Les Olivades. During his lifetime Marius Boudin created many classic designs including the “Ostriches and Monkeys” and the “Paradisier Bird”, also creating many designs for Pierre Frey and Christopher Hyland.
